Information We Collect
Photos & Camera Data: When you use the breed identification feature, the App accesses your device camera or photo library to capture or select images. These images are processed to identify cat breeds.
- Photos are sent to Google's Gemini API for AI-powered breed analysis.
- We do not permanently store your photos on our servers.
- Photos are transmitted securely and used solely for the purpose of breed identification.
- Google may temporarily process images in accordance with their own privacy policy.
No Account Required: The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Purchase Data: Cat Breed ID is a one-time paid purchase ($4.99). Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.
Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the App, such as which features are most popular and general app performance metrics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Device Information: We may collect basic device information (device model, operating system version) solely for app compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.
How We Use Your Information

Photos submitted for breed identification are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Scan history and collection data are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
