Photos and Images: When you use the breed identification feature, the App captures or accesses photos from your device camera or photo library. These images are processed to identify dog breeds.
No Account Required: The App does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identification information to use the App.
Subscription Data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.
How We Process Your Photos
To identify dog breeds, the App sends your photos to Google's Gemini API for AI-powered analysis. Here is how this works:
- Photos are transmitted securely (encrypted in transit) to Google's servers for processing.
- Google processes the image to generate breed identification results.
- Photos are not permanently stored by us or retained by Google beyond the time needed to process the request.
- We do not use your photos for training AI models, advertising, or any purpose other than providing breed identification results to you.

Data Storage
Local Storage: Your scan history and breed collection are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
No Server-Side Storage: We do not maintain servers that store your personal data, photos, or identification results. All data remains on your device or is transiently processed via the Gemini API as described above.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics to improve the App's performance and user experience. This may include:
- App launch and session frequency
- Feature usage patterns (anonymized)

This data cannot be used to identify you personally and is collected through Apple's standard analytics frameworks.

The App uses the following third-party services:

Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for all API communications

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your local scan history and collection at any time from within the App
